Fabric drying on Flat bed printing machine.
Yarn or the thread used to make fabric can be made using variety of sources like cotton, polyester fiber, viscous fiber, tension fiber, etc. majority of used is cotton. The process of converting Cotton into Yarn is called 'Spinning'. Raw Cotton is collected and transferred into a machine which removes the garbage from cotton. pure cotton is then fed to another machine which makes rolls or bundles of pure cotton. Next machine uses these rolls of cotton to make thread or yarn. All of these machines are automated.
Yarn is being manufactured on spinning machine.
After Spinning, Weaving process starts. In Weaving, The thread runs on the machine to make fabric. After Weaving, the fabric is transferred to Processing Department.
Weaving machines are producing fabric from yarn.
First step is 'singeing and de-sizing'.
Second step is 'scouring and bleaching'
Third step is 'Mercerizing'
The pre treated fabric is then passed on the dyeing machine to be dyed by the required color
Dyeing can be done by three methods; Continuous dyeing, Exhaust Dyeing, or Semi-continuous Dyeing
The desired print is printed on the fabric either after or before dyeing
Printing can be of two types; Conventional and Digital
After printing or dyeing, or both, the hand feel and look of the fabric is enhanced using chemical and mechanical procedures.
Benninger bleaching machine bleaching the fabric after desizing.
Mercerizing machine improving properties such as fiber strength, etc.
Pad batch machine performing semi - continuous dyeing
Jigger machine performing exhaust dyeing
Digital printing machine printing digital patterns.
Flat bed machine printing conventional patterns for panels.
Stenter machine finishing the fabric chemically.
Calander machine finishing the fabric mechanically.
After Processing department the fabric is sent to the Folding department for counting and measuring. after this, the fabric is inspected for faults. Fabric with major faults is considered rejected, fabric with minor faults is sent back to processing department for correction, and fabric with no faults is termed as fresh. Fresh fabric is then cut according to desired size and then folded and packed into dispatching material. This packed fabric is then dispatched to the warehouses.
The fabric is delivered to folding department for further process.
Folding staff measuring the fabric before packaging.
The fabric is being packed for dispatching to sales department.
The fabric is being counted for packaging.
When the packaged material arrives at the warehouse, the team rechecks and reconciles the material. This material is then supplied to all the outlets and distributors to be purchased by the consumer all over Pakistan. The material is also exported for global customers.
